EXPERIENCE
Mr. McDermott joined Bain Capital in 2018. He is a Managing Director on the Bain Capital Public Equity team.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. McDermott was an investment analyst at Folger Hill Asset Management, focused on the software, internet and media industries. Before that, he worked at Coatue Management, where he focused on companies across the technology industry.
EDUCATION
Mr. McDermott holds a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Psychology from Harvard College.
